Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adherence as taught by David Daniels and Terry Saracino - Posted: August 15, 2014

So you know your personality type. Growth begins on developing your level of awarness. Some simple reminders follow.


The Four As as taught by David Daniels and Terry Saracino

1) Awareness

Have a practice to increase your receptivity and grounded presence.

2) Acceptance

Open your heart to accept whatever arises in the moment. This includes befriending your reactivity and working with the super-ego.


3) Action

a) Pause

Notice....pause....collect energy....contain


b) Inquiry

Practice inquiry in order to discover, discern, and work with whatever reactivity or theme arises in the moment.

* Our key identifications, core beliefs and associated deepest concerns and feelings embedded in type structure (global origins)
* Our personal stories/wounds (root origins)

c) Conscious Conduct

Mentor yourself with the "inner coach" into conscious conduct. Conscious conduct takes two interrelated forms: releasing into acceptance and taking action.

* Stay with the experience..felt sense...loosen...let go...re-experience the essential qualities. (Essential qualities don't come and go; our being in touch with them comes and goes)
* Stay with the experience/felt sense...loosen...take compassionate action
 
4) Adherence Commit to the Process
